The ongoing Covid-19 pandemic pushed all the college activities on laptops and mobile phones. To break the monotony of life in an online semester, Clubs Council came up with a series of talks and workshops by multiple clubs under the title “IIIT Talks “.
These activities were held in December and covered a vast array of exciting topics.
Dec. 7, 2020: Introduction to Verilog
It was organized by the Electronics and Robotics Club. They put together all the basic concepts of Verilog programming so that the audience could get a full-fledged hands-on experience with Verilog.
It was held on Microsoft teams with Ansh Puvvada as the speaker. The session began from the basics of designing an “AND” gate to the advance levels of developing a processor!
Dec. 8, 2020: Introduction to Debating
It was organized by The Debate Society. They aimed at giving a complete description of the Asian Parliamentary style of debating.
The session was held on Microsoft teams, with Rohan Grover as the speaker. Initiating from fundamental points, all the advanced aspects of debating were covered.
Dec. 14, 2020: Intro to Spark AR
It was organized by Decore – The Design Club. It was focused on applying filters using Spark AR. Rohan Lahane conducted the session and explained Spark AR’s essentials efficiently. The session was oriented towards creating filters and doing exciting things with them.
