The World Feet
I see the mirror laughing at me,
Or is it just me?
My shadow is leaving,
Or is it just me?
Is this real or is reality an illusion?
Am I an illuminating illusion or an alluring perception?
The roses are bleeding red,
The darkness is sparkling ahead,
The melody of the silence
Slowly pervading.
The sun sank into the sea.
Maybe that is where it ought to be.
The days are dark and the world is at its edge.
Now I stand here,
With the world beneath my feet,
Ready for the eternal voyage.
I am moving and I am moving,
I don’t know where I am going.
Past the frontiers of the cosmos,
With no limits beyond,
In the eternal chariot,
I set my foot forward.
