Apex 2021-2022

The Apex body is one of the essential bodies in a fresher’s life in college. They essentially handle the bulk of the admission process for UGEE candidates as they take interviews for the UGEE candidates, take care of the induction of the newly arrived freshers in college, and are also a crucial part of the freshers’ first trip around campus. Thus, clearly, the Apex body is one of immense importance and responsibility.

The undergraduate Apex members have a term of 2 years. The selections for the new members were made in 2 rounds. The existing Apex members first interviewed them, and out of 51 applicants, 25 were selected for the second round of the selection process. The second round usually consists of interviews, with the panel including both the existing members and the faculty. But this time, a decision was made, and only discussions between the current members and faculty were held to finalize the candidates. The new members in the undergraduate Apex body are Sriram Devata, Eshan Gupta, Akaash Jain, Dhruvee Birla, Gunjan Gupta, Kshitijaa Jaglan, Vaibhav Kashera, and Aman.

The postgraduate Apex members have a term of 1 year, considering they have only two years in total. This year, four members were selected, namely Pranav Modi, Punit Sharma, Rohan Vashisht, and Tushar Chandra.
